Company description::
Usmoms has a unique and innovative approach to bringing the federal, corporate and non-profit sectors together to build socially conscience practices in the community. We have many different projects underway including a rooftop garden which will be closely watched by UBC,SFU and the City to measure the effects of run off water and greenhouse emmisions in accordance with the kyoto agreement. Several self-reliance programs, a coalition of food providers, free food box program which is the base of the UsMoms mandate and a certified kitchen for training and use for small food vendors who are now in the position of producing in a certified kitchen. More programs are in the works and Usmoms feels Kaslo Korner will be a blueprint for communities all over to share and provide resources.
